Will draws on his design training to make sculptures, photography and short films. Following a postgraduate degree in performance design at the Royal Central School in London, he was awarded a design scholarship to the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre. This early career underpins his interest in interdisciplinary spatial practices.

With an overlap of analogue and digital methods, I’m seeking to extend the sculptural qualities of traditional model-making techniques and study how hand-built apparatuses can shape knowledge that logic can’t reach in the spatialisation of the social body.

Before his Southampton Arches Studios projects (2021- 2024), Will worked as a teacher and education leader across Hampshire. He is currently enrolled on MA Contemporary Curating at Winchester School of Art and the TURPS MASS (sculpture) Programmes.
