Will draws on his design training to make sculptures, installations, and short films. Following a postgraduate degree in performance design at the Royal Central School in London, he was awarded a design scholarship to the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre. This early career underpins his interest in interpretative analysis of biographical locations.

Will’s practice seeks to extend the sculptural qualities of traditional modelmaking and theatrical techniques by employing hand-built apparatus that he uses to film and photograph.

Before his Southampton Arches Studios projects (2021- 2024), Will worked as a teacher and education leader across Hampshire.
